Description

Marie Stopes International Cambodia (MSIC), a registered branch office of Marie Stopes International (MSI), has been operating in Cambodia since 1998. We provide sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services in 20 of Cambodia’s 24 provinces through a variety of channels. MSIC operates eight static clinics and two mobile clinical teams. We also support a number of garment factory clinics, selected private providers and NGO partners to deliver a range of sexual and reproductive health services. MSIC is also a lead agency for technical assistance and capacity building for government, NGO and private sector partners in service provision and counselling.

In Cambodia, we work in strong partnership with the Royal Government of Cambodia. MSIC has a strong commitment to Millennium Development Goal 5 which aims to reduce maternal mortality and MSIC is focused on working with the government to achieve the objectives outlined in the Fast Track Initiative Road Map for Reducing Maternal and New Born Mortality 2010-2015. Through our work in providing safe and affordable sexual and reproductive health services and information, MSIC is contributing to the government's goal to achieve a reduction in maternal mortality rates by 2015.
